First MOT today Avon Storms
 

Had my sv 3 years so today was the dreaded MOT . (Can't believe its been 3 years )

Front diablo strada was below legal limit and rear had a nail in that could not be repaired ( at edge of tyre at a angle ), therefore had a pair of Storms fitted and the bike passed .

Pair of storms were 190 fitted to bike .

Just went for a spin to scrub in and the tyres really get hot , bodes well for grip .

I'm looking at these for my next set, currently on BT 201's which i was quite happy with.

Does any one know if Avon tyres still come with a hazard warranty ?
If so how does it work if you get a puncture , do you get a free repair etc ?

AFAIK The hazard warranty applies to the Storm and covers the first 1mm of tread wear, although I have heard of some being replaced after that point. Not all tyre dealers are aware of the warranty though, so make sure they are aware when you buy.
