Anyone know the used prices for SV's?
 

I'm waiting on a call from the insurance assessors as to the value of my K8 sport which was bought in July 08 (new) and written off in Feb 09 with 7.5k miles on the clock.

Dealer reckons top book is £3.6k and bottom is £2.7k, I've seen a K6 on Autotrader with similar miles for £3,699....does anyone have access to a guide or would know what it's worth?

I'm hoping for around the £3.6 mark on the basis that new K9 bikes are £4.9k and mine was (obviously) mint ;).

I got £3,272 for a K6 with 12k miles on the clock and 18 months old and was happy with that (after all I also had GAP insurance that paid out the other £1k I had paid on the SV.

Interesting thing is that the assessor originally worked out a value based on it only having 5k miles which was £3275 - so 7k miles only knocked £3 off the value........

Ended up buying it back for £600

Just spoken to the assessor, he's offering £3,600 (£3,500 + £100 for extras that I fitted), which is enough to pay off my finance, so I'm looking at agreeing that.
