The Evil Raspberry is for sale.
I have had this bike since she was just 5months old, but due to my accident injuries, I have to look for a bike with a little bit more leg room between seat and footpegs (damn my long inside leg!!!)

2001 sv650 naked, slightly modified, streetfighter-esque. Bright raspberry paintwork with purple highlights, braided hoses, twin headlights, Bandit 400 indicators, raptor fairing mini headlight fairing, loud stubby exhaust, hugger, single seater conversion (one set of pegs only), after market undertray, chunky lower yoke (made especially for the bike), progressive fork springs, newer carb heater, wavy disks. Immobiliser alarm, manual, and spare tank. Trickle charger plug attachment on the battery.

Garaged all year round, trickle charger plug attached whilst garaged. Clean, tidy, and worth a look.

Many pictures online...been featured in UBG and Fastbikes magazines. Won best paint trophies at many shows, she's definitely a head-turner.

Interested?
PM me for details of viewing/address/price etc.

Open to sensible offers.

Indeed I've seen it myself, it's a very good paint job, not some "rattle can special", it's definitely distinctive, you’re not going to find another like it (never seen a billet bottom yoke on an SV), whilst colour is such a personnel thing I know and it’s not what I’d normally go for, it works well on this bike.

The can is interesting, whilst most SV's sound good with anything aftermarket on them, this has a stubbied standard can, sounds lovely you look and then look again, lovely welding job on it.

Looked very well cared for, and as the saying goes “you can tell as much about a bike from it’s owner as you can by looking at it” and in this case I’d say that’s true and you’re not going to go far wrong, nice example of a well pampered curvy naked.

(I must admit I was surprised to see this thread, didn’t think she’d every sell it, although understandable, still a shame it has to go).

Cheers Mark.

I've got the Used Bike Guide that this bike features in, the photo shows a really nice paint job 8) and a very happy burd stood posing ;-)
Always said I'd like one that colour.

Good luck with the sale

Hey - cheers for the testimonials peeps...:smt039

After chatting to a few peeps, I may just make the alterations to the seat, lower the pegs and raise the handlebars to make her a more comfy ride, suited to my needs.

As it is, she is modded to my spec...it would be a major shame to see her go now...

Need to buy me some bits n bobs I guess (Just Bandits??)

How did you stubby the original can? I've been looking at doing this nut not quite sure where to start. Any advice aprrciated.
Hope you manage to mod her in a way that allows you to keep her.

Kilted...pm on its way.

Just found out that peg raisers used upside down won't work...well not so far anyway! Does anyone know which ones might??
