Impulse bike buys
 

Talkin to badger about this yesterday, must have spent near £300 on my crappy bike this month already yet I'm now in the bike shop looking at an RST jacket and I want it! Only tried it on at first to get an idea of size (thought it was ladies coz it's got a bit of white on it) but it's the last one and it fits really nice and seems well made (and goes with my handbag)...what to do :confused: :smt106

why not, I just spent 90 quid on a set of fairings. That'll do rather nice. 300 quid on yer bike eh......try two and a half grand! and she still don't flippin go. I will beat her, I will!!!!
Joking aside, if the jacket is required and you need one, get it, I needed a new jacket a couple of years back, as my leather one got a rather good beating from sideways rain for 500 miles, which pretty much rendered it useless. I spent 190 on my textile one which had 50 quid off, and got my textile pants too cheaper than full price, very expensive stuff but they were well worth the money, and have paid their way fifty million times over

I don't really neeeed the jacket as I've got a 2piece suite...but sopmetimes you just don't wanna be a poweranger. I quite fancy this jacket and a pair of draggins courtesy of the insurance cheque I received yesterday.... :smt106

well if the insurance cheque is burning a hole in your pocket then, fair enough. Wouldn't want to look a power ranger myself ;-)
Draggins are good in summer, a welcome change from sweaty leather!

my 2 piece suit is hilariously powerrangey, not that ive got it mind, i say buy it. i bought a blacked out visor for my helmet with the last of my loan instead of buying food, know your priorities :smt106
