Sorry I missed this one. I hope a good time was had by all attendees:D

I had my first "longish" run yesterday with the north city rat group. In total about 200 miles home - home. Was totally knackering! Strange that there were no old bill out around burnham/southminster(did the bends twice yesterday)

Traitor------------forsaken for new friends with your new bike;)

Breakfast at Clacton Pier then round the coast to The Naze for a cuppa and cake followed by a gentle trundle home. ALL IN LUVERLY SUNSHINE
even to the extent of taking sweatshirts off because it was so warm.

Thats what biking should be about----------extremely pleasant and relaxing,no rush and no pressure

Well, its not really new is it? My "old" bike was on the ride as well but I didn't get to meet the new owner as he was in the group that got "left behind" the first time at burnham/southminster.

I did the Tiptree-->Maldon-->Southminster-->Burnahm-->South Woodham Ferrets-->Benfleet-->Thurrock--> Home route on my own and it was loads better without a Rocket slowing me down in the corners...they do move in a straight line though...just don't give them tight corners...LOL!

I had my run yesterday. Could have done without the sunshine as it slowed me down somewhat... Glad others utilised it though...
