Quick question about SV brakes

Had some trouble with my front brakes, think I've got to the bottom of it now. But quick question what would be a good bet for the front pads?. I've looked at some EBC HH for about £37 or a local dealer has some 'nissin' pads in at £32 which he reckoned were the dogs danglies..but he would say that.

ooh wait actually - bonus question; I'm pretty sure I've come to the conclusion the mastercylinder was at fault (despite replacing the piston and seals in it) I've temporarily replaced it with a cbx500 mastercylinder (which I don't dare take off :p) but would I be better just lumping another standard sv mastercylinder on or would there be any benefit plopping a more powerful mastercylinder on off another bike?
Cheers

Checkout Wemto for pads, I don't know if your price is for one or two sets of pads?

I'd go for the EBC pads myself.

4 pads (two calipers worth)
cheers the wemoto site made the EBC pads look good (and the price!)

As far as i know you can just whack on a master cylinder from for example a CBR600 and get an improvement .

Its something i've been meaning to look into in more detail too. Over to the org experts....

Nissin make the OEM pads (and a bundle of other stuff like calipers). May not have the bite of EBC HHs, but you could do a lot worse.

Cheers sv demon, I just need something asap but (silly I know) I'm a bit apprehensive about putting another sv one (made by nissin coincidently) on as I can't see why the last one failed, and still wasn't working after a new piston and seal kit in there. Very odd - think I'll end up getting one unless I can source something tomorrow.

Cheers simesb, ended up buying the EBC HH's at £38 off the net. I can't stand the spiel they give me at this particular local shop either, makes me want to avoid going in. "oh man you're not gonna believe this man, a special price for you £32 and not only that these man are the absolute balls.....'nissin' "
He did look a bit let down when I was like erm..what are nissin like?
