Help me out with 2/1? peice?
 

I've no idea on leathers full stop. I spent about £450 on my HG goretex kit which is great but I quite fancy some leathers for summer (are they better in the heat or worse??)

I'm not going racing or anything and don't want to look like a tool in multicoloured ott leathers, I quite like the look of the RST Rift (http://www.rst-moto.com/index.php/pr...to_rift_mens2/) stuff but I've come to ask the opinion of people who are likely to have had there fair share of kit!

I'm in Bristol and have seen nothing decent in HJS, HG or Fowlers.

I've got an RST 2 piece set, trousers are like this. Quite happy with them, although RST are made to a price.

I don't particularly like the fine tooth zips they use for joining the jacket to the trousers. Seems a bit flimsy compared to the chunky zips other firms use.

But I prefer leathers to textile jackets

my bro has a set of arlen ness leathers and tbh the quality is great for off the peg stuff i have dainese and although better cut and sodding comfy crash wise i know which set i'd rather be in and it dont start with a d and end with e.

I've heard bad things about the endurance of Dainese in the past.

Arlen Ness I've heard good things about but they aint cheap, might have to pluck up. I'll have a look in HG Cardiff at some AN stuff but in the meantime are there any other brands worth taking a look into?

yeah as i said comfort wise dainese are great i like my touring leathers i've got apparently **** in a off though which is what most people worry about(rightly so) if it's cheap stuff your looking for tecknics are sposed to be alright so i hear spada's are good too and look's the mutt's for the money they ask.

Just had a quick look at Arlen Ness stuff online and it's really nice, like most of their 2pc suits in black/white. at £500-£600 it's a bit steep but I suppose if it's some of the best then it might be worth it.

Aye but I'm very tight with presents for myself, could afford it now but wouldn't be able to bear the guilt of spending that much money! Just need to try them on and sum up the courage!

The HG site only has the old stuff not some of the '09 kit. Will it be different in the shops?

I'm sure we've been through this:smt017, best deals I've seen are HG px2 (or something) suit they had on offer a bit back at £150 from £300. Or the RST Fusion suit I recommended you the other day at £250. It's either that or a trip to the early learning centre
