New bike - ACF50 or Vaseline?
Want to protect a brand new bike from the British weather.
Would you spray it with ACF50 or smear the bolts, etc, with Vaseline? Cheers. |
Re: New bike - ACF50 or Vaseline???
ACF50 applied with a brush. That way you don't get it near anything that don't want to be super lubed!

ACF50. It's in the name really, anti corrosion formula. Don't think you'd be able to get vaseline everywhere plus it seems a bit weird to me

Re: New bike - ACF50 or Vaseline?
Neither really matter because if you've bought an SV, it WILL rust...end of.

Re: New bike - ACF50 or Vaseline?
Just cover your brakes and disks and get busy with a can of ACF50 or similar, I use FS365. I use vasaline on all electrical connections. It has the same properties as battery grease. That will stop all your wiring connections getting furred up.
