This morning around 08:30 at the rocket centre in Blackburn a blue sv650 sport with the white stripe down the centre with suzuki crash bungs fitted.

I was the one waiting for my lift looking dodgey around your bike.

Sounds like one of the them there fancy k9 bikes if it had stripes on it :)

it was still there at 2 this afternoon (demonstrator?) same colour as yours but with 3 stripes up center

It was there when i picked mine up at 16:00 but it was not a demonstrator as i saw the guy drop it off for the service but i never had chance to talk to the guy.

As Paul said it might be worth while making up some calling cards :p
