Rear Brake Pads

Where is the best place to buy rear pads around edinburgh area? Mine ran out tonight and i want the bike on the road tomorrow.

I may take a ride out to saltire and get a set if tires while i'm at it.

Might be a god idea to get pads from Saltire when your getting tires ;)
Hein Gericke might have them in stock if it's closer to you.

That was the idea behind getting tires while i'm at Saltire (for pads) just don't want to get my pants pulled down over the price!!!

Really want to get out on the bike this weekend seeing as this could be our 2 day summer!!!!

Did you have any joy getting the pads done? Hope they didn't cost you too much.

I couldn't get booked in anywhere today so i got a set from Jim Allan in bathgate (2 mins from my house) £19.35 for EBC HH pads which i thought was pretty decent.

Tires will have to wait, think i will try the Avon Storms or the Pirelli Diablo Strada (£170 fitted at Saltire)

Metal on metal?

I think the friction pad on one side sheared off as they were alright the other week and the caliper isn't anywhere near seized.

Quite scary coming up to a roundabout and the pedal suddenly falls to the floor!!!
