Choke Removal

O.k so just how stupid an idea is it to completely remove the choke cable assembly and settle for not having one?

It's going to be awkward to start in the cold weather with no choke.

If yours is stuck just sort it out - the benefit of having it far outweighs not sorting it out.

Removing it is a harder job than fixing it, surely?

o.k fair enough. Just i've tried oiling the cable and greasing the lever thing but it just doesn't seem to want to budge anymore. Plus it seems to start o.k without it anyway to be honest.

How easy are these plungers of which you speak to get to and clean? Tank and airbox are off, is it a carb removal or what?
