Sorry - my question was actually whether there was any noticeable benefit to this.
Bike is currently standard - but since joining thuis forum I don't think it's going to last that way for long !

does it actually do anything? i know it will increase cold air flow, but is there a noticeable difference?

ive been told they make no difference at all,
the air box has a snorkel which exits the airbox and travels downwards, so there's no improved flow into the snorkel
