I had Mon mone in our own sweepie. Should have went to the bookies, it was at 100:1 !!!

why would you? hadn't got a prayer, so you'd be wasting your money!! 100-1? amazing result, hope the sweep won you a few bob :)

as for me, 3 backed horses finished, 3rd 6th and 9th. got stake moneys back thanks to mr ruby walsh on my will

I got £8 from the family sweepie. Would have been £200 if I'd gone to the bookies :lol:

I organised the sweep at work yesterday, and won F all! :(

One of the guys in our office said he was going to put a couple of quid on each of the long-shots as a 'you never know' thing, I bet he's minted now!

I put £1 each way on the horses that came 2nd and 3rd so got my money back + a pint lol better than i was expecting

my dad won 170 odd quid on the winner. he put it on cos it was 100-1! Jammy git.
He also put money on number 8 which led a good deal of the way but fell with four fences to go. :rolleyes:

I put £1 each way on Cerium at 500/1. Sky Bet did an offer where they pay out on the top 5.

Only bloomin finished 5th, £125 :D SHould go nicely towards a new end can :smt045

Got 3rd as well but that only paid £2.75

My mate has never bet before. Put a fiver on the winner, and now has =£500 to play with, lucky man!
