speedo problems
 

hi

for some reason on my 99 curvy naked, my speedo is playing up sometimes when the bike is idleing or in neutral give the bike some rev's and as well as the rev counter the speedo goes up with it!, or while riding it wont work at all until i pick up the revs and pace then it might work properly or the needle would be going crazy, but every now and then it works perfectly fine!

any idea??

eyup mate,have you sorted ure speedo prob out,if you have had a tyre change lately it could be your speedo sensor not fitted properly,which means ure lugs are broken and thats why it is intermittant,had the same problem with mine,only cost about a fiver if i remember and easy to do yourself,hope this helps you.

not yet it workin at the mo where the bike isn't runnin anywhere fast, i haven't had a chance to get the front wheel off yet but look at the sensor when the front wheel comes off for a full investigation.
