Anybody good with cars
 
Ok heres my problem,

headgasket went and replaced it etc had head skimmed.

engine started fine then stopped all fo a sudden and wont restart, i have good sparks, i have petrol getting into the engine the engione turns but will not fire.

Any ideas?

No idea...you have spark, fuel and it will turn...everything I thought you needed for it to start!

My only, uneducated, guess would be an electrical gremlin.

If you have all the ingredients the only thing I can think of is loss of compression.Can you get a compression tester?

check ur cambelt, if youve had the head off you might have missalined something, see if the camshaft turns with the engine bad news if it dont

We compression tested the engine earlier and all was fine,
the cambelt is fine also the alternator belt is fine,
the timing is perfect,
the engine doesnt turn over any faster than it should so thats fine,
there is petrol in it and the injectors are working fine, we have sprak plug tested with new plugs and theres a good spark so thats fine,

How have you checked the timing?

Sounds like the cam is out by 180 degrees. You'll get spark and compression when tested with a gauge. But the ignition spark will happen on the exhaust stroke so its useless.

Is it the single point or multipoint injection seicento?
