I like the plan 100 plus people get a free track day, wear their tyre a fair bit but realise the true grip.....then buy another set :cool: good PR stunt and profit maker lol

I've got Metzelers and got very excited, until I read that a) it's intermediates or advanced only (I'm a track day virgin), and b) it's full. :( Pity, I'm hinting hard to Mrs Tallguy that a track day would be an excellent 40th bday gift for September. She's playing it cool, or completely ignoring me, I suspect the latter :( Is that track a good one for novices such as me, or should I look elsewhere?

ooh, I have racetecs and its just up the road to me (30 minutes). Trouble being I have a golf weekend Sunday/ Monday, will the wife give me a free pass to use another annual leave day........er, no
