I occasionally visit the British Commercial Vehicle museum just down the road at Leyland and whilst they are static, they deserve to be out on the road like these. Keep an old truck/bus running is like trying to maintain 20 bikes at the same time. Large scale, 20 times the effort and 20 times the cost with an decreasing spares pool etc. |

Excellent pics.
There's a guy in my work who has a number of vintage buses, every time someone has a leaving do or whatever he provides the transport (usually around the Vale of Glamorgan) on the pub crawl! |

In Halifax we have a bus company that only runs old buses. Plenty of London buses and others have found their way here. The depot is round the corner from me.
They have a gorgeous one that they hire out for weddings. How cool is that?, having your own bus to get you to the church with all your guests! No need to find parking..lol |

Awww good old Welly buses (what my little brother used to call them :-D) Great pics Mark, was that a traction engine I saw near the beginning? Used to have see one of those driving round the village in Haworth, great fun! They often have vintage procession things in Haworth, right olde world village that one.
