Yup but that means nothing.I might end up in the novice group as Ive never been round Brands.As long as I dont end up in the gravel trap alls well.

Ha! Agreed, it's my main transport.

It seems heavy rain is forecast. Will this make it extra-exciting, or miserable?

My only track experience is in the rain and another in the semi freezing!Rain tends to put a lot of people off going so you can get the track almost to yourself.
Best advice is to go with nothing to prove,either to yourself or anyone else.That way you stay on the black stuff.

hope the weather holds out for you guys. Trackday i did at Brands last year started off very wet as it had rained overnight and continued the whole time i rode to Brands. And on into the 1st session.

I just took it very easy as ome of the bends at brands, especially the 1st right after the straight and the hairpin that follow can be a bit treacherous if you get em wrong in the wet.

But you'll take 4 or 5 laps to get any heat into your tyres anyway so you wont be able to do much but take it easy and steady round there.

We were lucky that a dry line started to appear by 2nd session and that made things a lot easier so i hope you have the same luck if it is wet. A bunch of us are going in July so i'm hoping that by wishing good weather for you guys the karma gods will also provide us with some when we go :)
