Non starter.
 

im in a taxi on the way to work because my bike wont start. So i changed the battery last time and it managed to turn it over 3 to 4 times. Normally it starts on half. Anything to check? And anyone want to buy a bike :(

ok a little more info. im wondering if its fuel but surely it should be able to crank more than 3 times before it dies? reason im thinking fuel is even though ive got no fuel light the trip shows 116 miles whch is quite high for me and its on a slope.

oh and i should say that it did start initially but i generally start it then leave it as i get my kit on and it dies on its own (first thing) thinking it is warming it up. however it didnt start after this. It initially started with no choke as it nearly allways does

Try the petrol first then i tried to start a blade once fuel light wernt on but it needed some petrol to get it running

my worry is it started ok initially but then it wont crank it over at all more than 3 times like chrun, churn,churn stop. this first happened on the hardy bikers

do you think it could be the heated grips causing it? even though there not on?

Just charge the battery up and add fuel, dont know about grips wouldnt of thought so if they are off are you cranking with lights on?

My battery is s**t and lights on constantly other day i left sidestand down then put it in gear (doh) and upon trying to restart must of got about 5 sec crank then another 5 sec crank and it died charged it up and twas fine

As far as some of my techy knowledge goes im afraid see what charging the battery does and adding some juice does and let us know
