C&S tyres Nik, in the Boro. As you head into Boro from Cannon Park, turn right where Nevisport is along Borough Road and then where the road forks, turn left (as if you were heading to the multi storey car park) and C&S is just on your left there.

I got some prices on Thursday as I need a new set. They fit to loose wheels so you'll have to take them off, I dont know anywhere around here which does ride in service although I have heard that North East Tyre & Exhausts on Longlands Road might be getting into bike tyres too.

Conti Road Attacks were £185, Avon Storms £195, Z6s £210, Dunlop Roadsmarts £220 and PRII's were £230. Im still debating over what to buy. Theyre the same sizes for yours.

i was thinking about roadsmarts from what fellow orgers have said

i go there for my car tyres, and they fixed my bike rear when i got a nail in it and they took the tyre off and did all the work themselves then

not liking the sound of taking off the tyre as i dont have a paddock stand, i will call them tomorrow and maybe tillstons and other places

i will ask if they will do a small discount for 2 sets, might be small but worth a try

I've had my bike to C&S before, they do (or did do) ride ins. It does cost a little bit more, I think it was about £12 or something like that when I did mine. Personally I found that the easiest option especially if doing 2 tyres. I took away all the hassle of taking wheels off, going to the 'Boro and then faffing about getting the wheels back on again.

By the time I'd done that I'd lost all interest in going out to scrub em in, but after I did the C&S ride in option it was straight out to Scarborough for a lemon top, tyres well n truly scrubbed in by the time I got home.:smt118

p.s. - Liking the Dunlop D208's

yeah i rang them today and do a ride in ride out service but its £15 a tyre, but since i have no way of removing my tyres might have no choce, so 250 for the roadsmarts fitted

Fookinhell, give Shotton Tyres a ring and ask them. I was told today that they are cheaper and they do ride in and ride out service.

they where 210 for the tyres but do not do a ride in ride out service, he said i cna use his paddock stand etc to remove the wheels but not to confident doing all that tbh

I also used national tyres in Redcar, great for fitting tyres to loose wheels, 15-20 quid a pair :) And not too bad for new tyres.
