helmets with internal tinted visors
Anyone got a complete list of ones that come with internal shades? You can never tell when searching online! Also the only ones I can find are budget items - why dont the quality manufacturers do them?

From memory Caberg do some, and HJC have one too. I quite like HJC helmets - must be the shape of my head.... |
Re: helmets with internal tinted visors
I'm using an Airoh force lid as it fits me perfectly (had arai and shoei before but didnt feel right).
I got mine as they first came out and it was about £140 if I remember rightly. http://www.sergis.lv/images/airoh-force-vision.jpg |

Schuberth make some too. Stonking reviews as well if I remember correctly

Re: helmets with internal tinted visors
HJC do lids with the sliding down visors.
Good value helmets i think. |
Re: helmets with internal tinted visors
Schuberth do them, I've tried a few and I admit they've fantastic with some great advancements over the jap lids. Still not enough to drag me away for my old RX7 though, I love em

Re: helmets with internal tinted visors
Thanks guys. Ive had a look at some (Caberg etc) and wasnt very impressed with the quality. Whats the Airoh like Speedplay? Otherwise its up the mortgage and go for Schuberth!

Re: helmets with internal tinted visors
Caberg Justissimo GT has one (also a flip front), most Schuberths and yeah..
I have a FS10 carbon and love it, comfortable, LIGHT and the visor thing works well. looks nice too, £240 or so.. |
Re: helmets with internal tinted visors
I'm happy with my Nolan N-103 which is a flip-front design with internal sun visor. Paid £230 online.

I'm really happy with mine. I've used their motocross lids for years as the fit is spot on for me. Road noise isnt too bad, its well padded and has a close fitting around the neck when you first slide your head in (think rebirth;) ). Theres all sorts of extra padding in the box too. The clear visor is non fog. Its supposed to be anti fog but I have stood in traffic (on the bike ill add here for the comediens amongst us) in the pouring rain with the visor down and it has refused to fog. The inner visor is just about right on the tint and the action to move it up and down is simple enough to do when riding. Its well vented too so you dont end up with a sweaty head:cool: Ive had an rx7 corsair in the past and this is as well vented as the arai, fit (for me) is better, build quality is good and its half the price too. |
