Clean and stubbied

well OK ALMOST clean, I didn't get to finish it but I thought I'd be self indulgent and take a pose shot. Turned out quite nicely I thought.

Shame the left over autosol makes the scraped link pipe show up, will wash that out tomorrow and it will blend in again.

Still chuffed with myself that I managed to stubby it all on my own :D well with a few good pointers from the org first of course :)

Wow looks great. You stubbied the can yourself!?! I bet that sounds beautiful. Love the picture too, nice bit of sun in the background. :)

Yep, surprised myself too as I usually mess things like that up but this worked out, a couple of bits not perfect but then it was far from perfect to start with so its a huge improvement :) (theres a thread in tweaking and tuning if anyone cares to see the before shot)

Can't wait to go on a rideout with it now as it does sound ace (IMHO anyway) but I don't really fancy trying its maiden org rideout through north wales just to pick up my idiot fine and rectification notice, I'd rather get a bit of use out of it first before risking it hehe.

I had visions of it being horribly loud and not sounding as nice but its the same tone pretty much just with a tad more VOLUME LOL and it pops a little bit more which I kinda like on long overrun.

All in all I'm rather pleased with myself this weekend, bike looks significantly better, not least for the bit of cleaning I did, just surface clean though, no fiddly bits.

No, I keep meaning to go there to get some sunset pics but this was just beeston castle on my way back home after a rush visit to work after a power cut.

Thanks mister c, it was how easy you made it look and the swiftness with which you sorted yours that convinced me to have a proper look at doing it :-)
