PayPal
I dont get paypal. The other day, I brought a subframe from a member here and easily managed to pay via paypal by just entering my card details. Now I want to buy a headlight from someone on here, and was going to pay by paypal again, but now it wants bank account codes and stuff and then i have to check my bank account to verify a set amount of money etc etc
Why do I have to do this? I don't see why i have to do it this time when i didnt do it the first time Matt |
Re: PayPal
I think it depends on value of item, or maybe they moved the goalposts again and just decided to require it for a second transaction or something, I had my account for years before I gave my bank details

Re: PayPal
If i remember correctly, this happened to me when i went over a boundary of the amount of money that you can spend without giving your bank details. I have to email the seller to tell them paypal was being a pain and had to wait for my bank statement. :(
I think its just yet another one of those security things. |
Re: PayPal
Theres a cap on you're account, once you rwach/need to go over it to pay for something, then you need to register you're details.
Another fraud security measure methinks. |
Re: PayPal
I see. well the item i payed for before was 23, this one is 60, it dosnt seem alot
|
Re: PayPal
I think my boundary was at £500 so no that doesnt seem alot.

Re: PayPal
Well i;ve done it anyway, i guess its only asking for details that you can already get from a cheque

Re: PayPal
I had to re-set up bank funding....like it wiped my bank details... I've been a fully verified Paypal user for 4 years... *****s :|

Re: PayPal

bummer thing is im hoping to win a fairing panel on ebay tonight. but if i cant pay for it, then i guess i cant win it? |
Re: PayPal
Check the auction to see how long you have until you have to pay for it. You may have sorted it out by then. :)
