yep the weather is supposed to be rubbish but we could have an indoor meet!!

thank you sarah. I had bought a vest top especially for the run in a smaller size as I was going to lose weight when I decided to do the run. Tried it on the other night and had to swap with Becky as she had bought a loose fitting t shirt. It was a wee bit too snug. Gym has not made me skinny, maybe I should go more often, once a fortnight is not working lol

it was good, except the hail stones 5 minutes before the race started. We were all soaked before we had passed over the start line. Ended up taking Libby out her pram as she was sitting in a puddle in the pram and not a happy bunny. some kind woman gave us her brolly. We walked to half way mark carrying libby as bex pushed the pram (hail and rain stopped after 10 min) but Libby was turning a wee bit blue, so handed her and pram to her dad. He took her back to car and stripped off her wet clothes and wrapped her in a scarf. Me and Bex then did a power walk and finished course in 42 minutes. It was really great atmosphere. Got my time to beat for next year. Thanx to all that sponsored me. Was reading everyones labels on their back as we passed them, so many people touched by cancer, so sad.
