ASV Levers, what size ?
Hi,
I'm going to get some black ASV Levers for the bike, just not sure whether to go regular or short. I won't be able to try them as they will have to be ordered so need to make the decision. I normally use all fingers for the clutch at the moment, likewise with the brakes, I don't see any issue moving to two or three fingers for this. My hands are normal adult size. Does anyone have these or similar ? or has tried these type of lever size ? |
Re: ASV Levers, what size ?
The stubby one's (taken from my pazzo's as I guess they're similar length) are about right for 3 finger clutch usage.. I can also one finger brake on my SV without having to break my finger.. although two is still usable. Personally I didn't find the clutch more heavy using the 3 fingers with the 4th wrapped around it.. took maybe 25 miles to get used to. Go for stubby since if you drop it, it's not £120 wasted.

Best of both worlds - stubby brake, long clutch. Though to be completely honest - next time, I'm just gonna stick with the stock ones :) |
Re: ASV Levers, what size ?
I like my full length pazzos, I use all my fingers on the clutch, sometimes I don't on the brake but I have plenty to aim for when I grad a fist full.

Re: ASV Levers, what size ?
Got Pazzo shorties on brake & clutch & they are great for me. Judging by everyones posts, people prefer different sized levers, best to see if you can find someone with shorty levers on their bike & give them a try to see what suits you :D

Re: ASV Levers, what size ?
Prefer long here :D - does anyone know where the stubby style came from, cos they seem to use full size in racing...

If you want to try out my pazzo shorties I'll happily meet you somewhere inbetween :)
