Dry hands in the rain
Returning from camping weekend yesterday, gloves alreay wet from the somewhat 'damp' conditions on site, tried putting the petrol station gloves used for deisel ( careful Hovis ) inside my bike gloves.
Plastic is thin, takes up no space in your pack etc., keeps the damp off your hands. Not perfect, but a little wheez that may help. |
Re: Dry hands in the rain
Yep, I always carry a pair of latex/vinyl ones in case, the latex ones dissolve if they get wet for too long but the vinyl ones are great, tis a good tip.

Yea, gtreat tip, maria does that
but me, well i had handlebar muffs, which got changed for handgaurds, and providing I'm moving, then the rain stays off my hands :bball: |
Re: Dry hands in the rain
I chuckled when I read this because throughout most of the Applecross Double Dash rideout every fuel stop we were at people dashed for the gloves.
When I first saw Pete and Lissa do this trick I just thought they had a strange fetish with the gloves. |
Re: Dry hands in the rain
I have Rukka Gloves and Handguards for the Winter (put on in October and removed in March) , but underneath my seat is a set of Latex Gloves in case of roadside emergencies , and these come in handy sometimes when caught out in the summer with thinner gloves on .
