Restricters
Am I right in thinking that the restriction method on a curvy is a washer sitting in the top of each carb? If so does any one know the measurements of them? I'm not willing to pay through the nose for two pieces of metal and I've never seen any for sale and I don't think I can afford a pointy.

Re: Restricters
I forget his name but theres a guy takin his out at moment..
not sure if just a normal washer of the right dimensions will be the right kit for the job??.. me will find the thread then you can bang him 20 uid and save yourself about 80 !! |
Re: Restricters
dude, bit un orthodox, but, take your bike to a dyno center and get them to put a screw into the throttle housing on the bars when the bike hits 33bhp! thats how mine was done, and takes two seconds to remove;-)

Re: Restricters
I have restriction washers fitted to a curvy I took vernier measurements before i fitted them. They are 1mm thick, 44.23mm in diameter and the hole in the middle is 18.41mm. The hole is exactly circular and bang in the middle.
Heres a pic: http://i39.tinypic.com/110eof6.jpg They fit between the carbs and the engine. |
