CBR 600 Front end on a curvy

Has this mod been done? I have looked at the diameter of the forks on my CBR600 steel frame & they are 41mm, the same as the SV.
I'm just wondering, seeing as I'm breaking the CBR, whether to do the transplant & have adjustable forks on the SV (& be slightly different) :)

You've got the front end sat around...why check, just get transplanting! :D Let us know how it works out ;)

I thought about a ZX6R F model for the same reason (41mm telescopic cartridge forks). The fact that the diameter is important to you suggests you're going to use the SV yokes. These may well be spaced differently to the CBR yokes (fork centre to fork centre) meaning the CBR axel may be the wrong lenth, and the wheel spacers may be wrong. have a measure up.

I'm glad I asked the question now. Cheers Jambo, I never even thought about spacing. I was just thinking 41mm will fit :)

I am off work next week, so may just have a nosey. I will do a Photo "how to" if it does work tho :)
