well done Becky

My daughter often has a nosy thru the forum. She has had a big year, leaving Scotland and all her friends last year, us all moving in with DD, her mum being pregnant and her starting college at 15. We got no financial help as she was under 16, having problems getting EMA.

She has in the last few weeks achieved the following:

passed CBT
got a weekend job
yesterday was told she can do jumping (horse) for 2nd year of course (she didnt think she would be accepted as others who have their own horses are better)
she has achieved straight distinctions throughout course (except jump - merit)

If you read this Bex - we are all so proud of you for working so hard. And no your still not getting your own horse. xxx

College at 15? How come?

Well done btw, being 15 is bad enough because you really start to notice the world around you, all the wrong things that go on etc etc. If you can make it through the teenage years, then your set for life I reckon

She did her exams in Scotland and because we are all much cleverer ;) up there, we do our exams a year earlier than down here. The only problem we had was getting funding for her course, but LSC agreed to fund it. The other option open to us was sending her to local school to redo her exams (she had passed them all already) so thankfully they agreed to fund the course and off she went to college.

I'm sure you could grab the keys to the Nellie, there's a hump back bridge I know & we can go out practising jumping
