whats the correct pressure for a SV650 K5 Stanadard Tyres ?

IIRC (If I Remember Correctly), 33 psi at the front, 36 psi at the rear. I usualy up this to 35 front, 38 rear, makes the bike feel a bit better

F33/R36 as stated in the manual and on the chain guard.

cheers guys just checked them and they was at 28 Front and 30 Rear !!

Mine is a 2 week old K9 and checked them yesterday before its first service and they are 34 in both!!!! Good to see the shop ensured they were right before selling me the bike :rolleyes:

depending on how accurate your tyre pressure gauge is compared to theirs, they probably did put them at the right pressure, you have just lost a few psi out the rear.

i take it this is the first of you checking your pressures since you got the bike?

you are supposed to do it every day or two. bike tyres are very susceptible to pressures, sitting your bike in the sun can up the pressure.

No I did it at the end of the 1st week and then again yesterday when I found this thread saying what it should be!!!! It was 34/34 when I 1st checked it too

I have one of those fancy electronic guages so I would hope it was fairly accurate but who knows?
