Leather repair- alteration.

Hi all.

Mandy is having her leather trousers taken in as she is tooo thin, she say they baggy..

its by a lady who works out of a motorbike tyre shop in Middlewich (regency you may know it)..

looks a good set up there too.. for tyres and for the alterations.

Anyway we went see her- she very thorough and proffessional and is nearly taking the trousers apart and rebuilding them for mandy- really chuffed .. pick them up friday so will let you know the outcome.. about £50 for the alteration.

She lets out- takes in- repairs seams etc.. saw a jacket there she was working on that was a bit tight for rider so se has but an insert in.. you wouldnt know it wasnt original..

I will find a link if I can

there you go-

thats the tyre place.. brilliant set up.. nice lads too .. we were chatting whilst waiitng for the alteration lady to arrive. she has a smallish work unit at the rear- but things must be good she moving next door to bigger premises.

I would consider going there when I need new tyres, presentl use Steve at Wheelock and he is good, but Iwill deffo give these a ring to get a price..

Guys name is Jedd Beggs, really nice fella, used to work at Bently motors. His son is into racing & is racing a 675 this year (I think).
Cheers for that one Dave, I've asked my mate for his number, but he couldn't find it & I'm too bone idle to root around for it.
I need a couple of small holes doing on mine after Sunday, plus I want "Mister C" putting on the back of them. Will give them a call now :)

Need a seamstress to adjust mandy's leathers my foot! Fancy blaming Mandy 'cos you've had too much beer to get into your leathers.....;-)

£50 blimmin quid! I could have sewed em up for that price :-P

Nah sounds good if it's what she wants doing, they were pretty big on her. She should really just eat more though, would be a lot cheaper!
