Anyone got an Inforad - ok or fault?

Ok so just managed today to fit my Inforad:D
Been out for a spin and seems to be working except for one strange thing.....
At some points it flashes red AND green at the same time?? Am i right in thinking that this is indicating a potential Mobile spot or is there something wrong with the unit?

When i installed the database i did select the option to include 'mobile locations'.

tis a new unit so no fave markers in it - running the latest version software 3.6 maybe thats got something to do with it.

also just found this on net and experimenting with it now - seems to work ok.allows importing to google earth:

ive only got 3.4 software, it must have been released in the last week as i only downloaded updated software about 2-3 weeks ago. ive had the inforad for about 1 year, its ok but can be annoying at times

Hmm I think that the data logger part might be the best feature from this - going to france in a couple of weeks and will be able to store the exact route fro reference.

ok maybe a bit of a "toy" but seems pretty good.

This is from the Inforad M1 user manual:

Lamp colour Meaning
Flashing green - Device not yet operational, searching for satellites.
Fixed green - INFORAD is operational.
Flashing orange - User defined danger zone (Point of Interest)
approaching.
Fixed red Warning – Approaching speed camera.
Flashing red Warning – Speed exceeds authorised limit.

nothing about red+green...... sorry

Red/green = orange, (in Inforad speak anyway).

oh right, thanks.
still bit confused though - it was a brand new unit so should not have had any user defined points loaded (actually checked and there weren't).
when i initially loaded the updates on i selected the 'Mobile locations for uk' as well as fixed.

I can only assume that this is what it is trying to warn me of.....and in fact going past somewhere i think they do sometimes have mobile checks it did go orange!

You are right, its mobile locations. Bit of a PITA really, so I unticked that option and it stopped.
