Good afternoon all.

Tis indeed 32mm, & like as not will feel like it's been done up by King Kongs bigger brother!:D

Cheers.

Mine was actually loose when I replaced my Sprockets last week , I had to tighten up the new one to 145 nM , practically lifted the bike off the floor tightening it :)

I can also confirm it is 32mm for the front sprocket .

Dont forget to knock down the tab washer before you try to undo it.

or to knock it back up when you fit the new sprocket

Shouldn`t that be the other way around ?

No, the washer is behind the nut, so the raised tab, need to be knocked down before you can turn the nut, (or even fit a socket to full depth). Once the nut is torqued, you then need to raise a portion to lock the nut.

Now you put it that way it makes sense Mr W , I see it as knocking it down onto the Nut to lock it and knock it up into the flat position to unlock .............. that`s the internet for you :)
