Drunken ebay purchase - oops
Ok so I was bored and a little bit drunk recently and for some reason I bid for and won a Stebel Nautilus Horn (the small version).
It has arrived but as it was previously on a bike there are no fitting instructions for it. Can anyone please tell me how easy it will be to fit to my bike and how to do it? Thanks |

tut tut, while the wife's away... i'll not tell but it'll cost ya
a cup a tea... while i watch you play with your horny stuff... |
Re: Drunken ebay purchase - oops
that just reads wrong!!
if i can't get it fitted to my bike i may try and fit it on one of the cars. |
Re: Drunken ebay purchase - oops
you could just connect it to the wires you already have from your horn,
but some say you need to fit a relay, some say you dont |

Thanks Hovis. What would happen if I didn't fit a relay when it should possibly have one? |
Re: Drunken ebay purchase - oops
im not sure, i remember i was in the same boat, and could not be bothered with the relay. so did not fit it
i think it may melt the wires, and burn somthing out? theres a thread on here all about it, but may take some searching? |

I may have to seek the advice from a very well mechanically educated friend to see what he thinks. :notworthy: |
Re: Drunken ebay purchase - oops
Stebel Nautilus is an air horn and WILL overload your horn wiring without a relay. Fit a relay and save your wiring, it's really not hard at all.
