continuous ink supply systems
Does anybody know much about these? I'm looking at making one for my HP printer because im sick of the cost of replacement ink.
Its actually cheaper for to keep throwing the printer away and buying a new one than it is buying new cartridges. I can find the parts to make the system however I'm unsure about how to dismantle my cartridges and clean them out ready to modify to fit the tubes. Anybody got any ideas? |

Why not just get the cartriges refilled?
I am led to belive, this cuts costs by up to 40%. |
Re: continuous ink supply systems
Its easy enought to refil the cartridges but mine only hold 2ml of each colour and thereofre runs out very quick with the amount i print. The continuous ink system will hold 100 ml of each colour and only costs a tenner for 100ml of all the colours so will save an absolute fortune!
im looking now how to take the top of the cartridge off |
Re: continuous ink supply systems
I've got an error on the printer, it just says E but i cant figure out what it is, I can imagine it is a fault with the colour cartridge as it is flashing as though its empty although it isn't.
Any ideas? |
