Heated gloves

Does anyone have any strong recommendations for heated gloves, or (even better) heated glove inner-liners?

My heated grips are just a pain in the bum

at the bike show last year, I was talking to a rep dunno for what brand but basically they'd invented a gel like material which is sandwiched between an inner flease lining and an outer armoured fabric.
Basically the gel when cold either hardens or losens but something within the fabric causes an exothermic reaction with it and this warms your hands back up. This repeats constantly maintaining a minimum temperature within the glove of around 15 degrees. Can be worn all year round, 100% water proof but not machine washable. Oh and they cost £180 :O
