Black / Blue SV650

Do you think my bike will look odd with just a blue Tank ?

I crashed and got a brand new tank from ebay but its blue i dont really have the money to get it sprayed so what do you think it would look like with just a candy blue tank with the S's Painted black ?

Hey look, times is tough, at least you have a bike. A blue tank may look naff, it may not. Don't worry over it, you'll be able to enjoy your bike :)

BTW, a black one may pop up sooner or later, if you can shift on your blue one and not lose any pennies, everyone's a winner.

I think it will look odd. But the tank comes off fairly easily - i'd use it until i'd saved up enough to get it sprayed. I'd happily have a multicoloured bike if it was a choice between that or not riding.

It'll look odd, but if you cant afford to get it sprayed so what...

Your other option is to try and get a Black Baglux tank cover, that way it'll hide the blue tank...

It can't look as bad as the bashed in, gaffered up, rusty red tank thats on YC's black curvy!

How bad is the damage to the original tank?

It it's just dinged you might be able to get it filled and touched up, cost me 40 pounds to get mine done, I don't have a "pre" pic but this is post, it touched the tank down at the widest point and flattened it (and removed the paint), plus touched the rear seat unit down.
If you look *really* close it's not quite perfect but you really have to compare sides
