semi, do what the book says

Re: semi or fully synthetic?
Semi is fine, use good quality stuff. Full synthetic wont harm but it might be overkill. As long as is conforms to the JASO standards it wont do anthing silly to your clutch. Don't use car engine oils, they may well do soemthing silly to your clutch.

I like the cautionary section of that article about engine flushes, saying you only need use them if you are silly enough to put in shampoo  just read that article all the way through (2nd edit of this post), its really good! |
Re: semi or fully synthetic?
Quite plain and simple what Squid says, and with that in mind, Hein Gericke own brand 10w40. £14 for 4 litres, and i believe its on special at the moment for £10.50.

Re: semi or fully synthetic?
If you're not near a HG Halfords do a semi synth 10w 40 which meets the specs required for just under £20 for 5 litres.
