Been a funny old 2 weeks
 

For those that didnt know, I found out on 15th Sept I was at risk of redundancy. Great, been there just under 3 years and a complete bolt out of the blue. 22 of us were up for the chop with 6-8 gauranteed to go. On Friday I found out I was one of them. Joy.

However, on the 17th Sept, I found out Im gonna be a Dad for the first time :D First visit to the midwife on 15th Oct and first scan on 5th Nov. Honestly cant wait. REALLY excited!

excellent mate-don't let the b'stards get you down, there will be other jobs but you'll only ever have the experience of being told your first kid is on the way once-enjoy

Cheers guys. Have to say the baby news really softened the blow about my job and has really given me a totally new focus in life.
