Can you replace wing miror glass?

You're riding along, and the glass "just drops out" of the wing mirror......breaks when it hits the floor.

I dont need a new full wing mirror, do I? Can you get this stuff made? Maybe not I wonder - its convex, isn't it?

(this is not on an SV, BTW)

towards the endge of the mirror, certainly on many cars, its shaped so you can see in the blindspot a little bit. Motorcycle mirrors tend to be flat.

I expect if its a motorcycle mirror you can gte a new one made up?

Yeah - its a bike mirror. It also looks like from most places you have to buy them in pairs, which is helpful.

Grr.

Looks like a job for the yellow pages anyway.....

I got a new pair for 17 quid delivered. I doubt very much you will get a glass made up for less than that.

I can send you a link to the ebay ad if you want.

They are ideal but do replace the pivot bolts as they are made of super soft cheese. Don't fit them with original bolts or you may not get them off again!
