A small milestone
 

Today, as I reached the end of hangar lane on my way to uni, my odometer ticked over to show 40,000 miles

Happy 40k'th, my little yellow trooper

In my 22,000 miles of ownership I have:

Replaced the reg/rec
Replaced the battery
Replaced the tyres twice
Fitted a topbox
Fitted heated grips
replaced the heated grips controller once
replaced the heated grips controller again
Replaced the exhaust with a louder one
Had more brake fluid changes than engine oil changes
New front brake lines
2 sets of new front pads
1 set of rear pads
A new screen
A new subframe
New headlights
New (repaired) fairings
Another new screen
2 new chain and sprocket sets (one when i got the bike, and another new set 2k ago)
2 fork oil changes
one new set of fork springs
one new set of headrace bearings
carb's cleaned and balanced
one new clutch cable
one new clutch worm drive
One new cam-follower
3 new sets of spark plugs
one air filter

Aah, thats nice - congratulations to you both!
Me and my shiny red girl celebrated our 35k'th last weekend (only 5k of which are mine, but thats not bad for 3 months work!) :-)
To celebrate i'm giving her a service this friday!
I hope you enjoy another 40k together xx
