The clocks are going back... The days are getting shorter, colder, wetter... So, it's time for... VINEY'S* TRADITIONAL END OF SEASON RIDEOUT http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/l...ut200603-1.jpg http://i285.photobucket.com/albums/l...aD/Viney02.jpg *Sadly, because the big man has gone for a new look recently... ...he won't be able to lead us in the usual fashion - but will hopefully meet up with us in Brighton. When: Saturday 24th October Where: Meet at Box Hill car park (meet 11am, depart 11:30am) Why: The clocks go back tonight, so it's the last rideout of the 'summer' What: Ride motorbicycles down to Brighton (via some wiggly roads) and have some yummy fish & chips on the seafront Who: Everyone, it will be a comfortably-paced bimble, not a flat-out blat. ***This is weather-dependant - so please check this thread the night before for confirmation that it's going ahead*** I've not organised the route yet - but if you can't make the main rideout, and you want to meet up with us in Brighton, then let me know and I can give you an estimate of our arrival time on the seafront once I've worked out a route. Hope to see lots of you there! |

I quite fancy turning up- got to get a new front tyre on Saturday morning, though and Friday is payday- so I might be either hung over, or just waiting for the tyre to be done!

Unfortunately, I'm a no as I'll be in sunny Malaga. And Mike is doing his theory test that day so maybe you'll get us both next time! |
