Wolf or Spidi?
I know this should really be in the gear section but I know more people view here and I need to make a reasonably quick decision, as in this week.
I have been given a price of £450 for a two piece Spidi Scarface, and the same for a Wolf set. They both fit very well so I need something to base my decision on. Does anyone have and good/bad/indifferent experience of either brand/suit? Poll added for quick responses ;) |
Re: Wolf or Spidi?
I've got a wolf two piece, had it for about 6 years now, never had a problem with it at all.
Cheers Mark. |

Is it off the peg?

Re: Wolf or Spidi?
MY wolf textiles have lasted me over 2 years, hardly look used.
Seem very good quality products. |
Re: Wolf or Spidi?
Cheers fellas.
Both suits are off the peg. I have found a few online reviews but neither seem to stand out above the other. |
Re: Wolf or Spidi?
I've heard loadsa good bout wolf not heard loads bout spidi. I'd be inclined to say whichever fits the best though.

Re: Wolf or Spidi?
I've had Wolf and Spidi leathers. I didn't like the Spidi 2 piece much, leather was OK but not flexible so fitting wasn't great and wear was OK but lining aged quickly. The Wolf 1 piece fits well and that's largely down to the cut and finish. Good quality leather. Had made for me in their shop in Leigh on Sea but was a standard 42 so not 'tailor' fitted but made by order, all for £500.

Re: Wolf or Spidi?
I may be wrong here, but I seem to remember from a conversation with Harpers, it's only the 1pc suits that are made down in in Leigh-on-sea with the jackets and trousers being made offshore.
Still a good product - My first 1 pc was wolf. Never crashed in it; just lost too much weight for it to fit properly. I then bought Spyke which was also great and held up very well in a couple of offs. Now have Dainese, which the genreal consenus on here suggests that it is toilet paper! See what happens if I ever test it out, but for right now, the fit is perfect. I have changed my last two sets because of fit rather than them wearing out/failing. |
Re: Wolf or Spidi?
If I get to exhaust/destroy my current suit I'd definitely be interested in a wolf tailor made one for around the £500 mark.
Current suit is also reported toilet paper but mine held up fine in a 40-50mph road crash, I would still guess both the brands mentioned would be of a better quality though. |
