base setting zx6 shock
Probably going to get a chance to throw the zx6 shock onto the sv at the weekend. Just wondering what would be the best base point to work from with regards settings. Im 11 stone by the way :D

Re: base setting zx6 shock
Set the damping adjusters in the middle to start. Important thing is to set sag right.

5- 10mm static, 30 -40mm with rider, give or take, so they say... go get the Manual for the base setting, you'll need to get it tweaked any road.

The zx10 shock length and spring rate thingy are same as curvy stock shock (on paper anyway) so hoping it'll be a good enough start :D |
