The End For Rideouts?

Yes, I know it's in More Crap News, but it seems to be a genuine court ruling.

What do you think of the ruling?

I would be especially interested in the view of any police officers on the forum?

so with their logic in mind, If I stop whilst on a rideout to adjust my balls as they have crept round my knees again...

If I then speed to catch the people in front and get caught, the people in front will have to pay for the fact that they didnt see me stop to have a fiddle and I decided I was going to catch them up?

Sounds a little harsh.

You could get points because of someone you dont even know trying to catch up for any reason.

Rubbish:(

imo

utter balls! so if the last rider stops then floors it to catch up then the lead biker gets done! no way!

there must be some reason why this chap has got done. I am guessing that there is something else to it?

That's a very scary precedent to set. You can only be in control of what you do, what anybody else does while following you is up to them, you certainly shouldn't be punished if somebody following you rides like a tit.

Leading a rideout you say? Not me. Never met these other individuals all riding the same bikes as me. Must be a coincidence officer. Now bugger off and do something useful.
