Re: Restricting a K6 Sv650s
Do not but the FI kit whatever you do.
It's over priced, falsely sold, makes you're bike run sh!t, makes you're bike drink petrol and you have no need for a certificate. Got in there before YC glows his gasket. Get a second hand ECU off here or ebay for ~£50. Can fit it you'reself, take the seat off, pull out the full power ECU and plug in you're restricted ECU. As for the K6 not being compatible, I think its K8 onwards with the o2 sensor which cause problems, but someone will correct me. Cheers, David. |
Re: Restricting a K6 Sv650s
I think the K6's onwards have to have their own specific ECU? So basically, yes Suzuki may be pulling your trousers down.
I have the restriction ECU which, when purchased second hand was advised that it'd only fit K3-K5 SV650's. |

Re: Restricting a K6 Sv650s
You still need to check the compatibility of that ECU with you're bike.
Could be different, better to check first. |
