My novice trackday diary
Did my first trackday recently and have posted my musings up at http://www.ridetrader.co.uk/novice-trackday-diary.aspx to hopefully tempt others who, like me, fancied it but also had misgivings about the while thing.
For all of you thinking of taking the plunge, do it, do it NOW (or at least next season when its a bit warmer). |

Good little read. Had to laugh at the backpack bit though! ;)

Re: My novice trackday diary
Good, informative post, I'm fairly new to biking (Born Againer) passed my test in the Spring, but would love to have a go when it warms up next year.
I'm hoping there might be a group of novices off here I could team up with. Did my first car track day three weeks ago (Goodwood in my Supra TT) it was brilliant, should have started years sgo. Thanks for the time you took to write it. G |

Re: My novice trackday diary
Good post.Reminds me of my first attempt although I did get there on time and take the luggage off!
It really doesnt matter how crap you are or who overtakes you.On my first it rained heavily at lunch time and most gave up and went home.By the last session there were only three of us out,me on the old sv and two track bikes on proper wets. They both lapped me more than once, but I learned something about the sv on crap worn out tyres in the wet and had a great time. |
