Red line on SV650
Cant someone tell me what revs the red line is on an SV650 I'm building a track bike and I didnt get any instruments with it?

Rev limiter kicks in at 10200rpm afaik.
It uses wasted spark, so one pulse per revolution (2 stroke setting), when you need to plug your instrument in |

If I remember from my dyno sheets you want to be changing up around 9,800, but I guess that may very according to spec.

But as Red Herring stated , and many Dyno runs have shown , it`s isn`t worth taking the bike to the Red line anyway as it does not produce any necessary power ........ and for Daveprestons sake ..... this answer was not Googled ;)

no this is so I get the correct rev counter, its for a curvy so if I get one that goes to 11K I should be sorted.

Well I don`t know about racing issues and such like but is there a reason why you cannot use the standard one ?
