Found something disturbing on the Internet
 

Last night I came across something rather unsavoury on the net and was shocked . Now I`ve been around a long time and have seen some pretty nasty stuff . I`ve been an AOL guide back in the days and had to head off some rather nasty net characters and I`ve been Admin on a certain forum for the last 5 years until recently . So I have had to tackle some serious issues and remove them . Anyway , I digress , I have bought a game from one of the Org members and was having a difficult time with a part of it . Now I am one of those people who does not like to cheat wholeheartedly in a game by making myself invincible etc , I don`t see the point in paying for an experience and then cheating my way through it , BUT , if I am having major difficulties then I will look online for a clue or a hint . So I decide to load up Youtube and look at a guide for "Assassins Creed pickpocketing" as I seem to get nicked everytime I try it in the game .

I load up Youtube and right away I get distracted by a video of somebody doing something stupid and watch it for a giggle , now as things like this go , you like to see other related videos and hopefully you find one that you can post on here that nobody will have "Hitlered" . I click on related videos and am met with a "Promo" for a site . I watch it in case it`s one of those sites that shows Skating accidents and people jumping off stuff and making idiots of themselves but something is not quite right . I am met with images of , I`m hazarding a guess here , teenagers at best and no older . They seem to be wearing adult clothes and shot in a fashion that suggests something . I immediately copy and paste the page and turn the Video off . A quick Google later and I find the Metropolitan Police`s Internet Crime page and click the link ...... it fails :rolleyes: . I decide to ring them and a lovely and understanding lady answers the phone . She gives me the number of the IWF and their site . I call them but it is an answerphone , I then paste the link into their enquiry form and send it to them .

Now as far as I am concerned there has been no sexual activity going on , they may even get away with it as no laws appear to have been broken but my gut instinct was instant revulsion and I am trusting my instinct . This was something that was not hidden away and could be very accessable and I can imagine there are lots of the wrong type of people queueing up to watch stuff like that and I feel physically sick . I did flag it up to Youtube but my main hope is the IWF can dig a lot deeper into this and maybe unveil something even more disturbing . I am highly unlikely to ever know if they do find something but as far as I am concerned , kids prancing around in "Adult" clothing can not be good and no good can come from it .

I`m more shocked that this was basically dropped into my lap so easily on a popular video site in less than 3 clicks .

I feel like i'm missing the point here in a major way as i cant imagine you reporting that to the cops?

Was it loaded on recently? Might not have been spotted yet. Could just flag it and get it deleted instead.

(edit; actually i suppose the point is to stop them if they're doing something illegal so i see your point, good man for reporting it properly)

I`ve PM`d you spidey with more info . I do hope that people undertsand I am not going to send links out etc . What I seriously hope is I am actually WRONG .

Yeah it had hardly any views , was loaded within the last week . And as stated in the OP I did flag it . In fact I should have really flagged all of his vids like that but I didn`t wanna hang around and be associated with anything like that .

I did read the whole post honest :( Anyhow not many would actually go whole hog and report it to the police so fair play.
