Sachs 125 roadster help
Hi guys it me again. i have a prob with my bike their is no power in the bike and when i rev it, it seems to rev so high it takes about 8 seconds for it to come back down and even then its revs are very low and to get the bike going i have to use the thorttle over and over again to get the revs up.
So any help would be great:D |
Re: Sachs 125 roadster help
forgot to mention it uses a yamaha Virago 125 engine, so i cannot blame hitler for the engine :D

I had this last week with my 125, so it may be the pilot circuit is set wrong. Try playing with it the pilot screw back and forth, if its not returning to idle speed after you rev it, you need to unscrew the pilot screw bit by bit. I still haven't got it perfectly set, same symtoms as you. Mine was wrong because after cleaning the carb i set it to the default setting as per manual instruction, however, my compression is lower than standard, so the pilot screw needed to be tweaked. Not sure why yours would suddenly need changing though. . |
Re: Sachs 125 roadster help
Thank you for the reply, i have had a mess about with it today and i pulled the choke out more then it should do and the bikes runs fine it when i leave the choke on normal off persition it does the rev thing so i have to turn it past off to, mega off :p
God knows why this is happing ? Never buy a sachs that isnt made anymore :D 15HP for the win |
Re: Sachs 125 roadster help
sounds like the pilot still lol.
So are you riding with the choke on now? or "more off" |
Re: Sachs 125 roadster help
More OFF :D And i blame hitler for this and the pilot :D

Re: Sachs 125 roadster help
revs hanging up is a symptom of lean running, but it sounds more to me like your choke is sticking.
